Nevada Pools is a family owned and operated company that was established by John Dufty in 2003, John started in the pool industry with his brothers in the early 1980s on the Gold Coast.
With the construction industry booming, and a short fall of decent pool installers, they quickly established themselves as the go to or preferred builders when it came to luxury residential pools and/or remote or difficult sites.
In 2006 after years of working alongside his Father John, Adam Dufty took control of the business and has continued to deliver beautifully designed and constructed pools and water play areas.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Adams a 2nd Generation pool builder and has been involved in the construction of over 1000 swimming pools & other Aquatic projects.
Adam has over 22 years industry experience and takes pride in all his work and especially customer satisfaction!!
Starting from the bottom and working his way up in the family business, Adam learned every aspect of Swimming pool construction before obtaining his Building licence in 2006.
Adam has built pools, water features, splash zones, water parks, aquariums, horse training pools and just about anything that requires a waterproof structure to be built.
His dedication and attention to detail is evident in every project that he has been a part of.
THE NAME “NEVADA”
Upon returning from World War 2, Nevada Pools founder John Duftys Father was given land in Nsw through army ballot for his services to the crown. Because of American friends made and lost at war, ” NEVADA” was picked as the name for the property.
John and his Father worked the farm for many years but in the early 80s with the agriculture industry struggling, the farm was sold and John joined his 2 brothers on the Gold Coast in the booming and emerging swimming pool industry.
In 2003 john left his brothers and started Nevada Pools in Rockhampton, Qld.
Because of John’s love for the farm and the land, Nevada pools was chosen as the name for his business and the name “NEVADA” continues proudly in the family, with the business being owned and operated now by Johns son Adam Dufty and Adams long term friend Paul Cluett.
